Job Description: Expectations from this role:
Manages the product throughout the Product Lifecycle under guidance from Product Manager II to enable the delivery of great products
1. Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
2. Defines the Product Roadmap
3. Ensure product requirements and user stories are clearly understood from the customer discovery process
4. Ensures the product and customer requirements are gathered and prioritized
5. Enables research and plans the product-line strategy
6. Sets and tracks clear Product Success goals
7. Ensure the execution of their product development in collaboration with engineering
8. Adherence to the best practices and standards; provide periodic status updates
9. Perform product demos to customers
10. Influence and improve customer satisfaction
11. Set OKRs for self/team and also provide feedback to the goals of team membersTypical performance measures:
13. Outcome accounting performance
a. Number of Customer Activations
b. Number of Customer Retentions
c. TCV of Customer Revenue
d. Product growth
14. Achievement of revenue targets
15. Adherence to project schedule and timelines

7. Plan to develop great products:
a. Set quality product goals and key initiatives to meet the same
b. Create and manage a product roadmap based on delivering value outcomes
c. Write high quality user stories
d. Facilitate the collection and prioritization of roadmap inputs and manage a living roadmap
e. Conduct Product and Release Planning sessions with cross-functional teams
8. Design to deliver great customer experience:
a. Design customer-centric experiences throughout the customer decision journey
b. Define user experience (e.g. wire framing, journey maps), partnering with product designers
c. Write great user stories by capturing and translating customer stories into product features that deliver value and delights users
9. Research the market to ensure an unfair advantage
a. Understand market trends, partner ecosystems, and competitive strategies
b. Understand users, the marketplace, the competition and future trends for the domain or type of system being developed through customer and market research, competitive analysis, and rapidly acquiring domain expertise
c. Define and articulate unique product and business differentiation
10. Manage business to go to and win in the markets
a. Set goals and establish and manage to KPIs for product success (OKRs, Pirate Metrics, etc.)
b. Protect assets and mitigate risks employing IP knowledge
11. Manage great people
a. Lead teams, communicate with diverse groups, and influence change throughout the organization
b. Set a vision of what s/he wishes to build and motivate the engineering team to deliver the vision
c. Prioritize, delegate, influence, persuade, resolve
12. Use great technology
a. Deep understanding and usage of tech stacks
b. Use scrum / agile proficiency (backed up by CSPO / CSM certifications) to deliver projects
c. Employ great technology in product management by diving deep into technology trends and architectures
13. Employ great methods in product management
a. Understand different product management and development approaches
