Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training
Golf Course in Ligonier, Pennsylvania is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training.
Position Overview:
This position will work hand in hand with the Director of Agronomy & Grounds, Golf Course Superintendent, and Assistant Superintendents to provide championship level playing conditions and turf health on a daily basis.
Position Responsibilities:
• Proper Calibration of Sprayers and Fertilizer Spreaders.
• Proper Plant Protectant Application.
• Water Management.
• Equipment Operation.
• Course Setup.
• Irrigation Maintenance.
• Cultural Practices (aerification, topdressing, etc.)
• Lead Small Crews.
Requirements:
Graduate or currently enrolled in Turfgrass Management program.
Experience preferred but not required; willing to train the right individual.
Compensation:
$17 – $20 per hour.
