Job Description

A global e-commerce company is looking for a highly skilled UX Researcher to join us as a hands-on leader. This role will involve leveraging cutting-edge technology and methods for customer research, advancing research as a discipline, and driving advocacy across the entire organization. You will guide individuals and teams through the research process, establish best practices, and advocate for research on a daily basis.
  • Rate: $70-75HR based on experience
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive research plans to meet defined objectives.
  • Choose the appropriate mix of qualitative and quantitative methods based on priorities, questions, timelines, and resources.
  • Explore innovative approaches to customer experiences through research and design thinking.
  • Design, conduct, and analyze various research studies, including usability, remote, field studies, and surveys.
  • Analyze user data and present actionable insights for product improvements.
  • Collaborate with UX Design on usability studies and testing.
  • Present research findings, recommendations, and solutions to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5+ years leading user research projects with demonstrated impact.
  • Bachelor's degree in HCDE, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or related field.
  • Passion for advocating on behalf of users.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated experience through a strong portfolio (study plans, reports, visual artifacts).
  • Expertise in end-to-end research (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting).
  • Exceptional skills in behavioral data collection and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with remote user testing, iterative prototype testing, concept testing, and survey design.
  • Experience with UserTesting.com or UserZoom.
