Job Description
Our real estate office is seeking a transaction coordinator who can effectively assist our valued home buyers and sellers from contract to close. You’ll work to make sure home inspections are arranged, assist with escrow documentation, schedule inspection appointments and repairs, and assure offers and counteroffers are approved. Responsibilities:
• Check each document to verify it has all the correct signatures and dates so the transaction process goes smoothly
• Schedule home inspections and any necessary repairs, and assist in negotiations regarding repairs
• Oversee all administrative tasks regarding home buyer and seller transactions from executed purchase agreement to close
• Enter client information into the client database system and submit appropriate documentation to the office broker for file compliance and keep track of transaction activity
• Arrange for and attend events regarding the closing process, including moving schedules
• Manage the listing launch and contract to close the process for all transactions
• Enter listing data, descriptions, and pictures into MLS
• Coordinate listing launch functions
• Act as the liaison between real estate agents, clients, escrow companies, and mortgage companies
• Read all aspects of contracts in order to execute obligations and maintain all trailing paperwork: inspection reports, receipts, bills, etc.
• Execute all administrative tasks involved in closing a sale
• Create timelines and follow-up processes to ensure all transaction deadlines are met
• Maintain accurate and compliant transaction files
• Create strong client relations over the phone, email, and in person
• Execute approved social media postings twice a week on multiple platforms
• Provide weekly check-ins with real estate agents to ensure timely closings
• Communicate continually with buyers and sellers to ensure an exceptional experience
• Assist in training and onboarding new team members and agents
• Attend in-person daily meetings to coordinate team efforts
Qualifications:
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service
• Previous experience in transaction management, transaction coordination, real estate, titles, or mortgages highly valued
• Must have excellent organizational skills and communication skills
• High school or equivalent required, some college experience preferred
• Obtained real estate license or are currently pursuing
Knowledge and Skills:
