Job Description:

• The Test Engineer P&C 1 position requires 3-7 years of related experience and an accredited bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Job responsibilities include developing and executing detailed test plans for Protection & Control (P&C) systems to validate their performance, safety, and reliability against specified requirements, implementing and managing testing procedures, tools, and methodologies to ensure thorough evaluation of P&C systems in various scenarios and conditions,
• collaborating with design engineers, developers, and product managers to understand system functionalities and derive accurate and meaningful test criteria,
• analyzing test data to identify deviations, anomalies, or issues in P&C system performance,
• providing detailed reports and feedback to relevant stakeholders,
• recommending modifications, enhancements, and updates to P&C systems based on test results and performance analysis,
• ensuring that testing activities are in compliance with relevant regulatory standards,
• industry practices, and organizational quality assurance protocols,
• creating comprehensive documentation of test protocols, results, analyses, and recommendations to facilitate transparent communication and future reference,
• participating in troubleshooting and diagnostic activities to identify and resolve issues uncovered during testing,
• collaborating with technical teams to facilitate solutions,
• maintaining and calibrating testing equipment and apparatus to ensure accurate and reliable testing outcomes,
• engaging in continuous improvement initiatives,
• contributing to the refinement of testing methodologies, and staying updated with technological advancements and industry trends related to P&C systems and testing and building effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors.
