Position Overview:
Are you a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse looking to make a difference in a remote setting? We're seeking a Telephonic Nurse Case Manager to join our Case Management Team. In this role, you'll be key in assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating service options to ensure injured workers receive timely, appropriate, and cost-effective medical care. Your efforts will help expedite their return to work while providing a supportive and empathetic approach to their recovery.
Position Details:
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
Type: Full-time, Remote
Requirements:
Licensing: Must hold a state-appropriate compact RN license in good standing. Additional non-compact licenses (e.g., NY, CA) are a plus.
Experience: 5 years of clinical experience as an RN. Experience in Workers' Compensation and Case Management is preferred but not required. Experience in Home Health Care or Occupational Health is considered a plus.
Skills: Strong written and oral communication, excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities, and high comfort level with computers and software (MS Word, MS Excel, Email).
Salary:
$62,400 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, education, certifications, and location (may be an hourly wage based on individual state requirements).

Key Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with medical providers, employers, and injured workers.
Perform comprehensive nursing evaluations to determine patient needs.
Review and assess all medical correspondence, provider reports, and treatment plans.
Evaluate the claimant's clinical status and explore alternative treatment options as necessary.
Collaborate with claims examiners to provide updates and follow directives.
Arrange and coordinate transportation services when authorized.
Assess therapy facilities and monitor progress on specific cases.
Document detailed notes on interactions with injured workers, medical providers, claims examiners, and employers.
Discuss and review the care plan with insurance representatives before implementation.
Implement the care plan upon authorization and coordinate with patients, physicians, and healthcare providers.
Arrange necessary care/services, such as home care, procedures, medication, equipment, or supplies.
Monitor and adjust the care plan as needed, coordinating with all parties involved.
Note: The selected candidate will need to have a compact license or proof of application for a compact license in their home state before starting.
