As a Special Education Teacher, you'll be providing both push-in and pull-out services, helping students reach their full potential through tailored educational strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs): Create and implement comprehensive IEPs for students with varying learning needs, ensuring they receive the necessary support to succeed.
Differentiated Instruction: Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the unique learning styles, abilities, and needs of each student.
Collaborative Support: Work closely with parents, administrators, and fellow educators to ensure a holistic approach to each student's education and well-being.
Student Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed to support their growth and achievement.
Engage with Families: Provide regular updates and maintain communication with families to ensure a strong partnership in supporting student success.

Qualifications:

Education: Master's degree in Special Education or a related field is required.
Certification: Valid state certification for Special Education (Louisiana) or a comparable state licensure required.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience is preferred, but passionate candidates with less experience will be considered.
Technical Skills: Comfort with virtual learning tools and technology is a plus.
