Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and supporting Scrum practices, helping our teams deliver high-quality products efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coach team members on Scrum principles and practices to enhance their understanding and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with the product owner to ensure the product backlog is well-groomed, prioritized, and understood by the team.
  • Identify and remove impediments that may hinder the team's progress and productivity.
  • Foster a collaborative environment within and across teams, encouraging open communication and transparency.
  • Monitor team performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a liaison between teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding of project goals.
  • Stay current with industry trends in Agile methodologies and provide guidance on best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field; Scrum Master certification (CSM or equivalent) is required.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
  • Solid understanding of Agile principles, methodologies, and frameworks, particularly Scrum.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and familiarity with software development processes.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
