Job Description
Invo Healthcare is seeking talented full-time Occupational Therapists to join
our team in the Jacksonville, FL area in a school based setting. Invo is the
nation’s leading provider of behavior, mental health and therapy services in
schools, centers and communities.
To qualify, applicants must:
* Have active state-level licensure as an Occupational Therapist
* Hold a masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
* Have experience working in schools providing therapy is a plus
What to expect from this role?
* Evaluate disorders and delays that affect students’ ability to perform daily activities and reach their educational goals
* Developimprove individual’s ability to independently perform tasks
* Serve as member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team for students with occupational therapy concerns
* Facilitate goals and objectives per child’s educational plan
* Maintain appropriate records
* Work in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible students
* Effectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and parents
* Perform other OT dutiesresponsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure andor certification
* Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
