Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, sales, and strategic planning, with a proven ability to cultivate relationships and negotiate effectively. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities through research and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create effective sales strategies that align with market trends.
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, such as Salesforce, to track leads and manage client interactions.
  • Lead project management initiatives to ensure timely delivery of services and solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and business development principles.
  • Proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, particularly Salesforce.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic planning capabilities that drive long-term growth initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on relationship building.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Food industry/Manufacturing experience is a plus
