Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Verbal Tutor to join our team in a part-time position. If you have a love for teaching and want to help students excel in reading, writing, and critical thinking, we'd love to hear from you!

What We Offer:

Consistent, Flexible Scheduling: Enjoy a predictable bi-weekly pay and no travel required. Instruction is conducted (remote tutoring may be an option in some cases), and tutors do not grade homework outside of work hours.

What We're Looking For:

A Bachelor's degree or higher.
Strong reasoning skills, with the ability to teach SAT-level material (Reading and Writing). All applicants are required to complete a sample SAT (Reading/Writing section), scoring 700+ to tutor at the high school level.
Expertise in critical reading and writing, including a solid understanding of grammar principles. A background in English/American literature and literary interpretation is a plus.
A genuine passion for teaching and working with young learners. Previous experience in teaching or tutoring is an advantage.
Flexible scheduling to work around your other commitments. We'll collaborate with you to create a regular, weekly schedule that suits your availability.
