Description:

• The Susan Horak group is looking for an efficient, safety-minded, self-starter. We have long-term work available for the right candidate for commercial and residential maintenance on construction developments.
• Applicants should have residential and commercial construction industry experience, a reliable vehicle or transportation, and the ability to provide some of their own tools.
• Applicants should be familiar with the construction industry safety standards to ensure project security and able to work with minimal supervision.

Applicants should be able to:

• Climb to heights and conduct work with proper safety restraints.
• Lift heavy loads up to 70 pounds.
• Navigate construction terrain.
• Perform set up and clean up at the job site.
• Provide general labor support as needed.

Skills: 

• Troubleshoot plumbing work orders with tenants over the phone and in person.
• Repair and replace plumbing.
• Inspect and diagnose plumbing issues.
• Replace basic parts.
• Keep accurate time and detailed records of work performed at each location.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with management, tenants, and other maintenance technicians.

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of all construction principles.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Personal, reliable transportation.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
