Image Orthodontics is a fast-paced and busy Orthodontic office located in San Francisco, CA. We not only change your smile – we transform your life. We are seeking an energetic, team-oriented, and friendly Patient Coordinator to be the face of our practice. As the first point of contact for our patients, your cheerful demeanor and welcoming smile will set the tone for their visit. The ideal candidate must be fun, reliable, have superior communication skills, be highly organized, and have a strong work ethic. 

We have two full-time positions available: One in our South San Francisco office and one in our San Francisco Mission office. The San Francisco Mission office will be opening soon, and until then, the selected candidate will rotate between our Westborough, Mission, and Post locations. Once the Missions office opens, this role will transition to full-time at that location. Both positions offer an alternative work schedule (4/10s).

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role required
• Previous experience in a dental or orthodontic office highly desired
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be comfortable and effective when speaking with patients regarding treatment and finances. 
• Excellent computer skills and familiarity with dental management software. 
• Highly enthusiastic and supportive team player with a friendly and positive attitude. 
• Exceptional multitasking abilities and proficient time management skills. 
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work well independently as well as part of a team
• Compassionate, caring and committed to providing exceptional patient care. 
• A cheerful attitude and a genuine smile are a must!
• Bilingual - the ability to read, write, and speak Spanish is required. 

Responsibilities Include

• Greet patients with a warm and friendly demeanor as they arrive at the office. 
• Explain treatment options and associated costs to patients clearly and effectively. 
• Manage patient appointments and maintain the office schedule to ensure efficient operations. 
• Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally, providing information and scheduling appointments as needed
• Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with billing and payment inquiries
• Maintain a clean and organized front office area
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient experiences
• Support marketing and promotional efforts to attract and retain patients.
