Salary: $210/day.

Job Summary:

Pacific Channel Transportation is seeking a Non-CDL Driver. This role involves the timely pickup, labeling, and delivery of shipments within 200 miles of Missoula, MT. This route has 6 stops and runs through Missoula and Kalispell.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to work Day shift, Tuesday through Saturday, 3:30AM-9:30AM.
• Touch freight - must be able to load and unload heavy items up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Ability to chain up and drive through winter conditions.
• Exceptional customer contact and driving skills.
• Drivers will be required to interact with customers, warehouse leaders and associates, and store leaders and associates.
• Drivers will also be expected to systemically update orders via a handheld device.
• Drive a non-CDL vehicle - 26ft box trucks.
• Communicate delivery updates to customers.
• Load the truck in an efficient manner for unloading and confirming customer orders.
• Climb in and out of the delivery cab to accommodate customer deliveries throughout the day.
• Any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, and climbing.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Valid, active Driver’s License.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record and Background.
• Must pass DOT physical, criminal check, and drug screen.
• Qualified candidates are self-motivated, responsible, highly organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment all with a positive attitude.
