As a Talent Acquisition Manager at Rivian, you will lead and inspire a team of talented recruiters focused on building world-class mechanical and electrical engineering teams. In this role, you’ll drive the recruitment strategy, refine processes, and ensure delivery of exceptional hiring results for critical engineering functions. Collaborating with technical leaders and stakeholders, you will set the vision for talent acquisition in the vehicle and electrical hardware engineering space. Your leadership will foster a culture of excellence, diversity, and innovation within the recruiting team while ensuring alignment with Rivian's mission to drive the future of sustainable transportation. • Lead and mentor a team of recruiters, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to drive high performance.
• Develop and execute strategic recruiting plans to meet hiring goals for mechanical and electrical engineering roles.
• Partner with engineering leadership to understand workforce needs and align recruiting efforts with business objectives.
• Refine and optimize recruiting processes to ensure efficiency, scalability, and an outstanding candidate experience.
• Analyze recruiting data to identify trends, measure team performance, and refine strategies for continuous improvement.
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion by implementing hiring practices that foster a diverse talent pipeline.
• Represent Rivian as a recruitment leader at industry events, conferences, and professional networking opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and employer branding, to enhance Rivian’s position as an employer of choice.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., Human Resources, Business, Engineering).
• 7+ years of experience in technical recruiting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing recruiting teams.
• Demonstrated success in recruiting for engineering roles, particularly in mechanical and electrical hardware disciplines.
• Strong understanding of technical hiring practices, workforce planning, and the engineering talent market.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve ambitious hiring goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Passion for Rivian's mission and a commitment to building high-performing, diverse teams.

Salary Range Irvine-Based Applicants: $137,000-$173,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, and other factors permitted by law).
