Overview:

Tax Preparation and Compliance:
Help prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
Ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations, including timely filing and payment.
Client Support:
Assist clients with tax-related questions and provide support in tax planning.
Prepare documentation and reports for client meetings.
Research and Analysis:
Conduct research on tax issues and interpret relevant laws and regulations.

Documentation and Filing:

Assist in preparing supporting schedules and workpapers for tax filings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
1 to 3 years of experience in tax preparation or a related financial role.
Technical Skills:
Basic knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with tax software and accounting systems.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to interpret complex tax laws and regulations.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to explain tax concepts clearly to clients and team members.
