We're a mid-size manufacturing company.

What You Will Be Doing

• Calibrate, align, troubleshoot, and test ball grid array (BGA) installation and removal
• machines prior to shipment.
• Assist in creating and maintaining production cell work instructions.
• Participate in the assembly of products as needed.
• Help manage software and driver revisions.
• Collaborate with Engineering and production-cell to identify and address issues.
• Assist with product transition from engineering development to production.
• Work from approved drawings and specifications to inspect components for quality
• assurance (QA).
• Periodically checks the accuracy and calibration of instruments used by company QA
• program.
• Provide service and warranty support to company's customers and sales channels.

What You Need for this Position

• Technical school certificate or associate degree in a technology field or three to five years of technical experience.
• Strong electronic, mechanical, and assembly skills including the ability to build a circuit assembly from a schematic diagram.
• Familiar with Windows PCs and Microsoft Office. Need to be able to install applications and device drivers.
• Must possess basic math skills including algebra and geometry and to be able to graph and interpret data.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand specifications.
• Strong written and oral communications skills.
• Experience with multi-meters, oscilloscopes, calipers, micrometers, height gages, surface gages and other metrology instruments.
• Experience using ERP/MRP system is a plus.
