We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our independent sales team.  We are looking for a team player interested in building relationships, delighting customers, and growing True Brands business.  In this role you will work with independent liquor, beer, and wine stores throughout the US, striving to understand each customer's unique needs and driving sales and growth of our products. Our Inside Sales Representatives develop, maintain, and grow their unique customer base through Account Management activities, as well as prospecting for new business.

This role will help with all duties and projects that come under the responsibility of the sales department. This role reports to the Channel Sales Director and works closely with other Sales Representatives and Account Managers, as well as our Customer Service, Accounts Receivable, and Marketing teams. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, fast-learning, highly organized, and loves to speak to customers on the phone. This candidate would have an interest in pursuing a career in Sales and customer relationship management, with the potential to grow into a more advanced position in the company.

This is a hybrid office position, candidates for this role will need to live within commuting distance of our Indianapolis office.  Minimum of 3 days in the office, up to 5.

  • Maintain and update existing customer database, lead and prospect lists
  • Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods of time, navigate multiple systems and software, including Google Workspace, HubSpot CRM, Project Management Software, etc.
  • Evaluate retailer needs and provide appropriate product recommendations
  • Interest in and desire to effectively help retailers grow their business
  • Comfortably engage and interact with customers on the phone and via email
  • Provide superior customer service, to every customer, equally
Daily Responsibilities:
  • Up to 150+ calls per day
  • Email, text, and additional inbound/outbound correspondence with customers
  • Daily & Weekly team meetings, trainings, and 1:1
  • Handling all customer related tasks (ordering, returns/damages, invoices, credits, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain current customer relationships to grow True Brands reach.
  • Prospecting new customers from defined lists to grow unique customer base
  • Assistance as needed with general inbound phones and customer service
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers in the channel
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales & revenue targets
  • Act as a brand ambassador for True Brands, ensuring that customers are aware of our brand and product offerings
  • Manage and maintain accurate customer records in HubSpot CRM
  • 8:30am – 5pm

  • $45,000-$70,000+ per year
    • Uncapped commission + a base salary of $45,000
    • Our sales representatives average $60,000-$70,000 in their first year, with top performers earning as much as $100,000+
