Location:
We proudly serve individuals in Clackamas and Multnomah County. This is a field-based position, meaning there is no need to come into the office. We assign clients close to your area, minimizing extensive travel. Our agency highly values work-life balance, ensuring no overtime, so you can maintain a healthy balance between your professional and personal life.

Job Details:

• The Agency serves clients in Clackamas and Multnomah Counties, with clients located near your area.
• Full-Time: 40 hours per week
• Part-Time: 20 hours per week
• 1:1 Supports: $23.00 per hour
• Group Community or Group ADL Supports: $23.00 per hour
• Job Coaching: $25.00 per hour

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Responsibilities:

• Skills training
• Attendant care
• Community inclusion
• Cooking and meal preparation
• Medication assistance
• Scheduling and accompanying clients to medical appointments
• Shopping and advocacy
• Providing transportation
• Attending company social events
• Ensuring client safety
• Supporting clients in communication and socialization skills

DSP Qualifications:

• Must pass a criminal, driving, and CPS background check (CRIMS)
• Independent thinker, self-motivated, and proactive
• Own a smartphone or tablet
• Reliable vehicle with proof of insurance (minimum 100k/300k/100k liability coverage)
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Solid life skills to teach and support clients in their daily lives

Services and Compensation:

• Discovery & Oregon Commission for the Blind Employment: $30.00 per hour
• Vocational Rehabilitation & Oregon Department of Disabilities Employment Supports: $25.00 per hour
• OCB Personal Assistant: $25.00 per hour
