Job Description

We are seeking a Freelance Graphic Designer to assist with updating internal Human Resources documentation and benefits materials for a growing corporation with over 10,000+ employees nationally. You will be responsible for creating visually compelling and clear designs that effectively communicate important information to our employees. Your work will include updating existing materials, designing new documents, and ensuring that all HR and benefits communications are consistent with our company’s brand and messaging standards. If you are experienced with corporate or HR related graphic design, and have an interest in taking on this project, please submit your resume which should include a link to your portfolio demonstrating relevant design work.

Responsibilities:

  • Design & Update Materials: Create and update various HR and benefits documents, including employee handbooks, benefits guides, onboarding materials, training manuals, and internal communications.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure that all materials adhere to [Company Name]'s brand guidelines and maintain a cohesive look and feel across all documents.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the HR team, benefits coordinators, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective visual designs.
  • Content Management: Review and revise content for clarity, accuracy, and visual appeal, ensuring that complex information is presented in an easily understandable manner.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Feedback Incorporation: Incorporate feedback from various departments and revise designs as necessary to align with company objectives and employee needs.
  • Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design and apply innovative solutions to enhance our HR and Benefits materials.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably with a focus on corporate communications or HR-related materials.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant design tools.
  • Portfolio: Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design projects, including experience with creating corporate communications or similar materials.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to non-design stakeholders.
  • Creativity: A keen eye for design, with creativity and innovation in translating complex information into engaging visual formats.
