Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Graphic Design Intern to join our team at Bon Secours Wellness Arena. This unpaid internship offers an exciting opportunity to develop your graphic design skills and gain real-world experience in event marketing within the live entertainment industry.

As a Graphic Design Intern, you will have the chance to work on a variety of projects and collaborate with our marketing department to create eye-catching graphics, promotional materials, and social media content. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to website updates and work on projects for different departments within our organization.

This internship is unpaid and requires a commitment of at least 20 hours per week. Some weekend and evening hours may be necessary based on the event schedule.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in graphic design, marketing, or a comparable program
  • Must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (without rounding)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design software
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a creative mindset
  • Strong desire to learn along with a professional drive
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and their design requirements
  • Passion for the Live entertainment industry (preferred)

Hours: We are flexible with schedules due to the importance of a student’s dedication to studies and school activities, however, we ask that the interns are committed to the schedule agreed upon once the internships begin.

  • A minimum of 20 hours per week would give a student ample exposure to real-world daily responsibilities and routines.
  • Some weekend and evening hours may be required depending on the event schedule.

Payment : This is a non-paid internship
