Currently maintaining 9 Grocery Stores, a Produce Warehouse and Headquarters in Mill Valley, CA, we succeed in the industry by ensuring we deliver a large variety of exciting and quality products in an attractive and positive environment.

About the Role:

Mollie Stone’s Markets is looking for a Part Time Floral Clerk to support our Burlingame store.  Our ideal candidate will have previous floral experience, a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a flair for merchandising. This candidate must also have a cooperative, friendly personality and the desire to grow in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions:

• Able to arrange and wrap flowers.
• Ability to merchandise department to increase sales.
• Ability to maintain quality and freshness throughout department.
• Assist customers with questions and offer product knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Desire to constantly grow product knowledge of flowers, plants and other floral merchandise
• Detail-oriented
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including evening weekend and some holidays.
• Local candidates only.
• Previous floral experience.

• Ability to manage confidentiality with integrity.
• Effective written and oral communication with strong attention to details.
• Exceptional organization with strong ability to prioritize competing interests.
• Strong ability to cooperate and work collaboratively towards solutions in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
• Standing: Up to 8 hours per day.
• Walking: Up to 8 hours per day.
• Reaching: Up to 4 hours per day.

Travel Requirements:                                                                                                                                        

• Independent and reliable local travel 50% of the time.

Pay scale:

$18.50-$21.35 depending on industry experience.
