Job Description:

The Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, including financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting. This role involves working closely with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to provide strategic financial guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's goals.
    • Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting and forecasting.
    • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance:
    • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
    • Manage internal and external audits.
  • Cash Flow & Risk Management:
    • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability.
    • Develop strategies to mitigate financial risks.
    • Oversee treasury functions and manage banking relationships.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
    • Provide training and support to team members on financial procedures and systems.
  • Operational Efficiency:
    • Implement and maintain effective financial controls and processes.
    • Optimize the use of financial systems and tools.
    • Drive cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Communicate financial performance and strategy to stakeholders, including the board of directors.
    • Liaise with investors, banks, and other financial institutions.
    • Represent the company in financial discussions and negotiations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
