Job Description

Sportsman Boats is looking for a Fiberglass Laminator who will be responsible for laminating layers of fiberglass on molds to form boat decks, hulls, and parts.  

What you will do:

• Select precut fiberglass strips and place onto prepared molds.
• Pat or press layers of saturated mat or cloth into place on molds, using brushes or hands, and smooth out wrinkles and air bubbles with hands, rollers or squeegees
• Mix catalysts into resins, and saturate cloth and mats with mixtures, using brushes.
• Apply layers of plastic resin to mold surfaces prior to placement of fiberglass mats, repeating layers until products have the desired thicknesses and plastics have jelled.

• Detail oriented, care, and take pride in doing a great job
• Be responsible and come to work on time every day
• Must be able to work in a non air conditioned environment
• Ability to stand, bend, climb for up to 8 hours per day
