Job Title: Facility Maintenance Supervisor
The primary responsibility of the Facility Maintenance Supervisor is to maintain facility operating systems, facility property, workspace, equipment layouts, coordinate and perform all machine maintenance (including sewing) to ensure optimal conditions. As a VF People Leaders will supervise internal and external stakeholders within the facility as needed. Also, works with Facility Leadership to ensure projects are completed timely and within budget. Supporting the establishment for maintenance, safety and compliance procedures through continuing education and training. This job has a degree of independence to work on own with little to no supervision.
How You Will Make a Difference: Lead maintenance & janitorial team to ensure performance goals/standards are achieved & VF policies are followed while prioritizing the completion of work orders Maintains VF standards, OSHA, and environmental standards and codes to ensure all federal and state regulations are successfully implemented to meet requirements. Coordinates the purchase of all parts and services required to maintain facility in full working condition to ensure that internal/external requirements are fulfilled. Maintains proper physical facilities including security, safety, equipment, interior/exterior maintenance, grounds & utilities. Ensure that all facilities are maintained to the highest level while monitoring & controlling costs. Develop and stimulate improvement processes, techniques. Also, while leading safety initiatives at the facility. Monitors utility usage to ensure all equipment is running at the most efficient level possible. Assist management in developing yearly capital expenditures budget. Plan and implement large scale projects, obtaining bids and follow up of project cost Trains and provides guidance for other maintenance and janitorial personnel (i.e., Serve as mentor) Assists other technicians in installing and maintaining equipment (including sewing machines), fabricating work aids, and maintaining facilities as needed. Specify daily work assignments for team & maintain a skills assessment program based on strengths. Maintain compliance records, PMs, work orders and maintenance programs/schedules Performs these, and other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
Skills for Success: Years of Related Professional Experience: 5-8 years
Educational/ Position Requirements:
- Strong level of knowledge of electrical, HVAC, pneumatic, plumbing.
- Must be able to calculate service requirements in these areas.
- Must be able to operate and thoroughly understand all facility related equipment.
- Must have previous people management experience
- Must be skilled in basic commercial remodeling.
- Knowledgeable of OSHA, State and Federal Codes, IPM, WRAP.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good computer skills (Excel, Word).
- Must be a self-starter, able to work independently with a proactive working style

Hiring Range : $55,440.00 USD - $69,300.00 USD annually
Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
