Job Description

Leading architectural and engineering firm is adding an  Engineering  Project Manager  to their Milwaukee team! 

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a member of the leadership team
  
• Evaluate project requirements in collaboration with Principle
  
• Negotiate an acceptable owner-architect agreement including fee and schedule
  
• Assist with the development of discipline costs and work plan budgets
  
• Monitor project costs/completion status against budget schedules/timelines
  
• Review/evaluate contractor bids and assist Principal with award recommendations
  
• Manage/review all correspondence/pertinent documents for accuracy and completion
  
• Seek legal counsel to review correspondence/documents as needed
  
• Assist with the preparation of client billings before submission for signatures
  
• Serve as day-to-day leader in absence of Principal  
  
• Assist with business development activities including developing proposals and participating in client interviews
  
• After a preliminary review and client meetings, write scopes of work for engineering design
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  
• 5+ years of design of engineering systems
  
• Experience working on Public|Corporate, Higher Education, and/or Healthcare projects preferred
  
• PE License
  
• Knowledge of current technology, building industry standards and all applicable codes, (city, state, federal)
  
• Knowledge of developing construction documents
  
• Working knowledge of building engineering systems
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
