UW Madison, Department of Educational Psychology is seeking candidates to teach graduate level courses in school psychology and learning sciences. Courses will provide instruction on cognitive and emotional foundations of behavior and will focus on neuroscience foundational concepts relevant to clinical mental health practice. Courses are part of the School Psychology graduate program in the Department of Educational Psychology in the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Courses are graduate-level that cover issues related to training school psychology students in the PhD program and students from other School of Education graduate programs. PhD in educational psychology, school psychology, clinical psychology, neuroscience or a related field
1. Current knowledge and background in the relevant discipline including focus on neuroscience foundational concepts and cognitive and emotional foundations of behavior.
2. Prior teaching experience in a graduate program
3. Ability to respond to the needs of learners from a variety of educational backgrounds and learning styles
4. Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
5. Excellent written communication skills
6. Good organizational skills and timeliness in responding to student inquiries
Full or Part Time: 25% - 100%
It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Terminal, 4 month appointment.
This position has the possibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding

ACADEMIC (9 months)
Courses may be taught in the fall and spring semesters; however, course development and planning is ongoing. This position may be extended or made renewable depending on department need, performance and available funding.
