Job Title: Director of DTC Sales
Location: Napa, CA (with travel to Paso Robles, CA)
Reports To: Chief Revenue and Growth Officer
Salary: $130,000 - $140,000 annually, plus 20% bonus potential

Position Summary

The Director of DTC Sales will be responsible for developing and executing a dynamic sales strategy that drives revenue growth, customer engagement, and brand loyalty. This individual will oversee the operations of three tasting rooms (two in Napa, one in Paso Robles), the winery chef, and the overall hospitality program, ensuring a best-in-class guest experience. They will also lead the wine club and direct sales teams to enhance customer acquisition and retention.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Sales Growth:
•  Develop and implement a comprehensive DTC sales strategy to drive revenue across tasting rooms, club memberships, and online sales.
•  Set and achieve financial targets, optimizing pricing, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives.
•  Analyze sales performance metrics, customer data, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
Tasting Room & Hospitality Management:
•  Oversee operations of three tasting rooms, ensuring high standards of service, team performance, and guest satisfaction.
•  Partner with the winery chef to develop and enhance culinary experiences that elevate the brand and drive sales.
•  Create and implement hospitality initiatives that attract new guests and encourage repeat visits.
Club & Customer Relationship Management:
•  Lead the wine club team in developing compelling membership offerings, retention strategies, and personalized engagement efforts.
•  Drive club acquisition and retention through innovative marketing, events, and exclusive experiences.
•  Foster strong relationships with VIP customers, leveraging insights to enhance brand loyalty.
Team Leadership & Development:
•  Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing DTC sales and hospitality team.
•  Establish clear goals, training programs, and incentive structures to drive excellence.
•  Foster a collaborative culture of service, sales, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

•  7+ years of experience in DTC sales, hospitality, or luxury brand management in the wine or spirits industry.
•  Proven track record of leading successful tasting room and wine club programs.
•  Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
•  Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
•  Passion for wine, hospitality, and creating exceptional guest experiences.
•  Ability to travel between Napa and Paso Robles as needed. Additional travel for national events and sales opportunities will be required.
