Digital Media Buyer , Media Department

(Open to Hybrid or Remote Employees - Must Work EST Hours)

We’re looking for a talented Digital Media Buyer to join our growing Media Team at PHG!

As a Digital Media Buyer, you’ll be responsible for overseeing digital media buying, operations and reporting across 3-5 key accounts. To be successful in this role, it is crucial to have an understanding of the digital landscape, digital platforms including Shopper Marketing, Programmatic, Google and Social, as well as understand how to set up, manage and optimize campaigns.

In this role, you’ll be working collaboratively with other Media Buyers as well as our Shopper Strategy, Digital Strategy and Analytics teams. 

We're looking for an organized and detail-oriented Digital Media Buyer who will:

Planning:

  • Collaborate with Media Strategists and Shopper Marketing Strategists on upcoming campaigns determining best platforms, target audience, and creative strategies to implement to develop media plans.  
  • Facilitate communication with external media and Shopper Marketing partners. 

Buying, Pacing and Optimizations:

  • Build and set up campaigns, including setting up appropriate tagging and tracking. 
  • Bid/buy and place campaigns within various digital platforms including Google, Socials and Instacart managing the ongoing real-time optimization of live media to ensure client goals are met and/or exceeded.
  • Traffic creative/campaign assets to external vendors. 
  • Monitor campaigns for performance ensuring campaigns are pacing accordingly, managing spend, troubleshooting campaigns, creating insights about performance, making updates accordingly and flagging potential issues to digital strategy. 
  • Manage client media budgets. Submit monthly digital media billing for assigned accounts. 

Reporting:

  • Provide data, insights and trends to help inform campaign reporting for key accounts. 

Best Practices:

  • Manage platform relationships for partners including: Meta, Google, LinkedIn and vendors within the Shopper Marketing space. Understand buying best practices, innovations and advertising options. Share with others on the team. 

ABOUT YOU

You have some experience! You have 2+ years experience buying digital media across various digital platforms. You have hands-on experience buying within Google, paid social or programmatic platforms, and have worked with analytics, attribution, and measurement systems. Shopper Marketing experience preferred. A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution is required.

You're detail-oriented! You have excellent written and verbal communications skills.

You're process-oriented! You have outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.

You love evolving! You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative and team focused environment. You have Google Ads and Analytics certification. Experience with Looker Studio is a plus.

Salary Range: $65k-$75k (base salaries are dependent upon experience and location)
