The job description is as follows:

Role/Title: Sr Data Scientist
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Onsite)
Type: Long Term Contract

Skills Required:

• 8+ Years of Experience in coding data science solutions using R programming language and/or Python .
• Experience building statistical models, creating predictive/forecasting models, and understand algorithmic bias in stats & implications.
• Experience shepherding a data science model from requirements gathering from business stakeholders, to coding, to releasing to production, to assessing performance, to refining/optimization.
• Clearly express the details of a data science model to peers and support finding with simulations measuring the effectiveness the model and optimize for constraints.
• Support a Data Science Team in using collaboration software using Posit Workbench, Databricks, Hex , or similar
• Train Data Science team on how to check in code and collaborate using GIT and provide training and knowledge transfer on statistical models and methods.
• Explaining complex statistical models and concepts into clear, understandable language for non-technical users who have minimal level knowledge of statistics.
• Configure and troubleshoot Linux servers for hosting data science tools.
• Document code, server settings, software settings, and workflows to facilitate lasting processes.
• Master s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Applied Math, Statistics, Data Science or equivalent from an accredited University in the United States
