As a Corporate Trainer, you will play a key role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of the Employees at Cornerstone Building Brands. You will deliver comprehensive training programs designed to foster employee growth, improve employee job performance and support organizational goals. These efforts will ensure our workforce is equipped with the necessary tools and capabilities to excel in their roles and contribute to the companies’ long-term success.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Training Delivery and Development Support
    • Conduct training session, workshops and seminars for employees at all levels both in person and virtually
    • Facilitate employee both soft and hard skills training to all levels of personnel
    • Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and formats, such as role-player, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos and lectures to ensure the transfer of learning
    • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews and in consultation with Cornerstone Building Brands Employees
    • Support the design and development of engaging and effective training materials, including e-learning, manuals, workshops and other instructional content
    • Ensure training programs are aligned with the company's strategic goals and industry best practices
  • Collaboration and Coordination
    • Work closely with others within the Learning and Development team to identify training needs and ensure alignment with organizational objectives
    • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and material preparation
    • Maintain records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes
    • Prepare and present reports on training activities and outcomes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience facilitating employee both soft and hard skills training to all levels of personnel
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering effective training programs
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Proficiency in using e-learning software, learning management systems (LMS), and other training techniques
  • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite including; Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong emotional intelligence 
  • Key Competencies:
    • Presentation Skills: Strong public speaking and presentation abilities to effectively deliver training content
    • Critical Thinker: Capability to assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness
    • Resilient: Flexibility to adjust training programs based on feedback and changing organizational needs
    • Collaborative: Ability to build relationships and works collaboratively with employees at all levels
  • Certification in training and development (e.g. CPTD, ATD) is a plus
  • Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time to deliver training at Cornerstone Building Brand locations
