Job Title: Consumer Compliance Manager - TILA, Reg B, Reg E & Banking Compliance

Location: Mt. Laurel NJ, Wilmington DE and Charlotte NC ( Onsite )

Duration/Term: Long-Term Contract

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Consumer Compliance Manager to oversee and ensure the accuracy of compliance testing and related processes. This role involves leading quality assurance reviews , guiding team members, and collaborating with stakeholders to address challenges and share results. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in federal consumer compliance regulations , strong communication skills, and the ability to efficiently manage testing workflows and compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Training and Knowledge Acquisition

• Participate in training sessions and knowledge transfer activities conducted by the client to understand the scope, requirements, and methodologies of compliance testing.

Quality Assurance and Reviews

• Lead quality assurance reviews over testing activities performed by team members, ensuring alignment with pre-defined test scripts .
• Identify and document any deviations from testing standards and recommend corrective actions.

Team Assistance and Support

• Provide guidance to team members to ensure the seamless execution of testing responsibilities.
• Foster a collaborative environment to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness in testing processes.

Stakeholder Communication and Updates

• Update client stakeholders on team performance , addressing any challenges or issues impacting the testing process.
• Share findings and provide periodic status updates on testing activities to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Undergraduate degree in Finance , Business Administration , or a related field.
• 5+ years of work experience , including 2-3 years in consumer compliance transactional testing .
• Strong knowledge of federal consumer compliance regulations , including but not limited to:
• TILA (Reg Z)
• Electronic Fund Transfer Act (Reg E)
• Equal Credit Opportunity Act (Reg B)
• Bankruptcy , CAN-SPAM , and Children s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
• Privacy laws , Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) , Record Retention , and Marketing Compliance .
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document testing steps and findings effectively.

Nice-to-Have

• Advanced degree in Business or Risk Management .
• Experience with banking and financial products , such as credit cards, unsecured lending, and deposits.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to track, report, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Expertise in stakeholder management and building collaborative partnerships.

• Compliance Domains: AML, KYC, data privacy, sanctions compliance, consumer protection compliance, and regulatory reporting compliance.
