We're looking for a passionate Buyer to join our team at a leading pet food manufacturer! In this role, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our four-legged customers get the high-quality ingredients they deserve.

As our Buyer, you will:

Source with Savvy: Find and secure the best raw materials (meat, premixes, oils, packaging) to keep our production lines running smoothly.
Become a Supplier Whisperer: Build strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating top-notch deals and ensuring on-time deliveries.
Quality Control Champion: Maintain our high standards by evaluating supplier performance and ensuring all materials meet our specifications.
Master of Efficiency: Manage purchase orders, track inventory levels, and identify cost-saving opportunities throughout the procurement process.
Team Player Extraordinaire: Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and finance teams to keep everything in sync.
To be a great fit, you'll have:

A College Degree (Preferred): A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is a plus, but passion and experience are highly valued.
Procurement Prowess: Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or inventory management, ideally in the food manufacturing industry.
Negotiation Ninja: Strong negotiation skills to secure the best deals for our pet food production.
Data Wizard: Proficiency in inventory management systems and ERP software is a must. Bonus points for Syspro experience!
Communication Superstar: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively.
Self-Starter with a Team Spirit: The ability to work independently and manage projects while being a valuable team player.
