**Job Title: Bookkeeper for Hospitality Clients**
**Overview:**
We are seeking a friendly and professional bookkeeper with experience in the hospitality industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to support our restaurant clients and be part of a dynamic team that values growth, empathy, and integrity.
**Start Date:** February 17, 2025
**Compensation:**
- $26 per hour during the training period
- $29 per hour once fully trained
- *Training period averages 6 months*
**Schedule:**
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
- Hybrid work model:
- In-office a minimum of 2 days per week (Monday - Thursday)
- Work from home on Fridays

**Ideal Candidate Characteristics:**
- At least one year of bookkeeping experience in restaurants, with the ability to demonstrate basic bookkeeping knowledge.
- A passion for lists and organization; you thrive on keeping things in order.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- A genuine desire to create remarkable experiences for clients and colleagues.
- Detail-oriented, valuing accuracy over speed; you take pride in doing things right.
- A fun, approachable personality who enjoys a light-hearted work environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Reconcile, close the month, and review financials for approximately 20 small businesses each month.
- Provide comprehensive accounts payable services, including organizing and paying bills weekly, filing sales tax monthly, and managing cash flow.
- Deliver exceptional service, aiming for 5-star reviews from clients each quarter.
- Take ownership of your work and actively seek feedback to enhance your skills.
- Communicate effectively, responding to teammates within 60 minutes and clients within 24 hours.

**Application Process:**

4. Participate in an initial Zoom interview (approximately 45 minutes).
5. Attend a second Zoom interview (approximately 1 hour).
6. Experience a paid Team Shadow Day (3 hours at a flat rate of $75).
