Job Description

**Job Title: Administrative Services Assistant**

**Compensation:** $54,141 per year
**Benefits:** Medical, Retirement
**Position Type:** Full-time, 12-month, tenure track
**Hours:** 35 hours per week

**Position Summary:**

As an Administrative Services Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our community college's financial and administrative functions. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, including procurement, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, cashiering, and general administrative services.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Assist with procurement and accounts payable processes.
- Manage accounts receivable and cashiering functions.
- Schedule events and manage facility usage.
- Oversee inventory and asset management.
- Participate in convocation and commencement ceremonies, as well as serve on committees and task forces.
- Attend various meetings, which may include evening or weekend events.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

- A Bachelor's degree in a related field and up to three years of relevant experience, or a combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the competencies required for this role.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in a cashier, finance, financial aid, or similar business office environment.
- Proven ability to work effectively with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Experience with Event Management software (e.g., EMS).
- Background in planning, organizing, and executing full-cycle event management, including billing and receivables.
- Familiarity with financial database software (e.g., Banner) for processing financial transactions.
- Experience in a higher education environment.

**Salary and Benefits:**
