Reports to: Head Housekeeper
Summary:
Maintains guest rentals, meeting rooms and public or common areas in a clean and
orderly manner by performing the following duties:
Responsibilities
- Provides excellent guest service.
- Is thoroughly familiar with the property and all of its services. Is generally familiar with other lodges and activities in CSP.
- Strips linens and removes trash from guest rooms and cabins.
- Cleans rooms, rollaways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways or other areas as assigned.
- Sweeps, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors.
- Dusts furniture.
- Washes walls, ceilings and woodwork.
- Washes windows, door panels and sills.
- Empties wastebaskets and empties and cleans ashtrays.
- Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Cleans and sanitizes all porcelain bathroom surfaces such as a tub, tub surround, commode, sink and associated fixtures or handles.
- Cleans and polishes mirrors.
- Replenishes bathroom supplies and linens.
- Replaces lightbulbs.
- Delivers cribs and rollaway beds to guest rooms as necessary.
- Makes notations for maintenance or supervisor regarding malfunctioning or broken fixtures and equipment.
- Maintains departmental equipment and supplies in a clean and functional manner.
- Keep secure all Lost & Found items and turn them in to supervisor according to department procedure.
- May be assigned other duties, sometimes in other departments, as the need arises to support fellow staff members in achieving the company mission.
Qualifications

Education/Experience Preferred:
* Prior experience and/or training is desirable but not required.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions.
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by
an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing abilities and visual acuity.
- Talking and hearing occurs continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other associates.
- Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
- Required to use hands, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
